This beautiful flower is a cross between Tulip Fosteriana and many different tulips.  They come in a variety of colors including orange, red, yellow, and pink

After the flowers bloom, remove the flower stalks and apply a slow-release fertilizer around the root zone. This substance will gradually seep into the soil during watering and feed the tuber as it dies back.
Leave the foliage on the tree until it turns yellow so the tree can capture the sun’s energy. Tulips are hardy so they can be left on the ground through the winter in most areas.
If you live in a cooler area, dig them up after the flowers bloom and store them in a cool, dry place. To tie up bulbs in hot climates, place the bulbs in peat moss in the refrigerator for three months and then plant them in a container or in the ground.
