Grow and Care Dutchman’s Pipe (Aristolochia gigantea)

Brazilian Dutchman’s Pipe

This Brazilian native flower closely resembles the Sherlock-style pipe popular in the Netherlands, Also known as the Giant Dandelion, the flowers emit a foul odor despite their spectacular appearance. But that’s not the only thing that makes Giant Dutchman’s Pipe less appealing. This plant is classified as dangerous to the Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly, which confuses Dutchman’s Pipe with its native host plant.
