Ludisia grows on the rainforest floors, so they don’t like a lot of natural light. Too much sunlight can wash away their distinctive leaf color.

light
Another feature that makes the orchid so attractive is its ability to tolerate low light. Since it grows as a looming plant where taller trees provide constant shade, it thrives in low light with no problems. North facing windows are ideal in the Northern Hemisphere. Remember to keep it out of direct sunlight or it will be affected.
Of course, this does not mean that the plant will live without light. It requires a few hours of indirect light per day.
Drinking water
In their native habitat, orchids reside in moist foliage in moist environments, and soil moisture is well suited. Therefore, maintaining the proper level of soil moisture is one of the keys to orchid care. Water the plant regularly and make sure it never dries out. Once a week for up to 10 days, move the basin to the sink and run warm water over it, soaking the potting mix thoroughly. Let it drain completely and then return the pot to its normal position.
If the pot is on a plate or inside a decorative kettle, do not allow water to collect inside the pot. Empty the plate after watering or root rot may be the result.
